Description
1.1 Completion of all related competencies, proficiency and training required to successful reach this level, as detailed on Wireline Career Progression document.
1.2 Demonstrate and improve knowledge and understanding of Wireline operations policies & procedures, which include Radiation, Ballistics, Pressure Control, rig up, and preventative maintenance.
1.3 Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all relevant Wireline documentation and other online training and support systems.
1.4 Performs complex job planning and preparation of tools and equipment, promptly and accurately submits all required reports and data.
1.5 Promptly report issues, lessons learned and best practices using the appropriate online system.
1.6 Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to perform advanced wireline services at the location, which may include tools and equipment in some or all technology groups into Open Hole and/or Cased Hole domains.
1.7 Supervise all tasks associated with a complex Wireline job, which includes load-out and backload, rig up, winch operation, clean-up and maintenance of tools, equipment and Wireline units.
1.8 Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of various Wireline functions including winch operation, depth control, tension, fishing, data acquisition and tool response.
1.9 Perform Wireline cable tests and re-heads, tool preventative maintenance & calibration, tension and depth system calibration.
1.10 Maintain equipment, facilities and work locations in a presentable and working condition.
1.11 Prepare and organize advanced logs and data for distribution, processing and archiving.
1.12 Maintain customer relations and communications.
1.13 Know and fully understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
1.14 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
1.15 Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
1.16 Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience required for the Job
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or other field related to the oil & gas industry
- Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline, self-starter and motivation
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong computer software skills and troubleshooting network connections.
- Long shifts, long hours on site.
- Requires extensive travel both domestically and internationally and extended stays away from home.
- In addition to the hands on training and pass certifications required for Field Engineers, the theoretical courses should be taken and pass certification obtained.
- Software skills and Basic Mathematics Knowledge
